Way cool! Lucky you!
And happy belated birthday, btw.

Are they real lockpicks or are they paper clips that have been bent to resemble lockpicks? I'm not sure about the box of paperclips or the credit card but the rest of it is really cool. I like how the lockpick instructions have been made to look like they were written on an old parchment.
I'd love it if someone gave me something like this for my birthday

Cool! The handmade presents are of the best kind. And this looks very cute. :D

Paperclips can be used to pick small locks, like padlocks or latches or diaries, or locks that don't need much pressure to rotate. The television and movie industry has created countless and rarely believable scenes depicting the use of a paperclip or hairpin to escape a locked room.
The credit card as a locked-door opener is also based on real life and has been exaggerated in entertainment. Doors with exposed or smooth catches can almost be swiped open with a credit card. In some buildings here on campus, we've had metal plates bolted over doors to prevent just that.

I think these are just bent paperclips too. They're awesome nevertheless.
