Thief Tattoo almost done, taking suggestions on second and third - by doctormidnight

I finally made the plunge and got myself a tattoo, and it was one that I've always wanted and solidifies me as being a total nerd. I still have one more session since I bleed a lot and need to have the outlines worked on a little (I'm trying to keep them rough looking because that seemed to be part of the overall feeling they gave in the games).

http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r142/doctormidnight/keepertattoo.jpgI'm thinking of doing the following, which I'll just give numbers for according to the (

58
92
103
Final Glyph (but only if I could get a decent drawing of the "correct position."
Any thoughts?

Yeah, but now whenever you take your shirt off people are going to ask you what it means, and you will have to dorkify yourself all the time.

Ha, nice dude! Methinks if I get this job I'm goin in for today, I might just get a Thief tattoo somewhere... And maybe get my ear pierced. :thumb: Imagine having a lil stud in your ear that has a glyph emblazoned on it. :cheeky:

Well we could mark ourselves in a subtle way to recognize each other. :p I'm just thinking about the glyph itself; after all it's a door glyph. What meaning does it have to you personally?

Looking good, doctor. Are you going to get a few of the remaining glyphs tattooed on your shoulders, then spiralling down each arm? Cos that would be ultra-cool.....

A pagan glyph in the forehead, imitating a third eye, would be awesome.
It wouldn´t be socially safe but still awesome.

It's the door/lock glyph. Beyond the fact that it's the dopest of the glyphs and just looks cool, it always struck me as having the qualities: complicated, ancient, final, greatness, and challenge.
Just words I could think of at the moment, there's something else to do with its simplicity and "hardness" (remember these are seen carved in stone, hence the style I had done), but I can't quite seem to put that into the correct words.
As to more tattoos, I will have to see what happens in the 3rd and final round (which will probably change the overall image considerably) of blood letting - i bleed a shit ton - before I begin on new ones. It would be nice to have a few more that were all connected in some way to the original, perhaps you guys could think of a background image or connecting theme (not vines, please) that could go from the main image up to the shoulders and down the biceps. I can't go any farther down my back because of upcoming surgery.
Oh also if anyone sees null around, guide him to this thread and see what he has to offer. Something from shalebridge just gotta be done you know.

For the background, you could have Garrett with his arms stretched out like "Come to me..." :thumb:
Also, on your "dominant" arm, you could have the Unbinding Glyph (who wouldn't want to punch annoying golems to death?), and have the Discarta Weapon on the other one. Alternately, you could have the glyph for the Hammers on one arm, and the Pagan glyph on the other. :D

Jesus Christ, my wife has probably lost her inheritance because her family found out I didn't go to church (although my oldest son does). How's it going to look when I show up at the family BBQ and they ask what those tattoos are?
"Oh hey grandpa that's just my pagan glyph."
*gets burned at the stake*
