Thief : TDS "Covered arms" model?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering just after installing T:DS again, how did I cover up the naked arms of Garret two summers back, when I first played it through. Does anyone even remember there was a replacement for Garret by then?

Well anyways, what I mean here is the way how Garret's arms show up in third person (yes, I use third person by the times, shoot me if you like), and it annoyes me since I don't think any "real" thief would go sneaking around sleeveles. Now would you?

So what I'm asking for, is a replacement model for this issue, and I need one post haste. Otherwise I'm afraid my thief experience will be ruined *Sob*

P.S I tried searching from the forums, but the closest huntch of the covered sleeves was just some picture that had Garret and beard combined, and in the middle I saw a covered arm :o Now just mentioning the issue this many times makes me look like I'm obsessed to it or something.. So I'll just shut up and wait for answers then.

There've been made a couple of versions by some forum members IIRC.

Thanks in many! That's actually excactly one of the sites I saw just a few months ago, but never got the chance to try out the models. I'll do that now then. Thanks again!

Mmmmyes, after a few test runs the result was positive. Very much of a positive indeed, now I actually had to repeadetly push the third person button to see how nicely Garret fits into the shadows with the covered arms. Oh my.. Well, not all that jolly though, since my badly running TDS just turned a bit more slower than before due the high resolution in the textures. Not that I would complain, it was me who asked for it after all. Great work, really! And thanks again, again, and again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Im screwed.

In hindsight, I wish I woulda braved 20 degree weather to go buy the damn dvd version of the game.

But instead I bought the damn direct2drive version in both thief DS and DX IW :( Yer skins look wicked John P.

I am almost tempted to go buy damn dvd versions of both games as well, just so I can get some better skins.

This is when cs file structure would be nice lol a few mdl's here, a few sprites there and Im done lol
