Maybe the answer to the book stuff is take the PDF and do a book yourself. Heck, there´s no law forbidding you to press the print button when you see a Thief image freely on the net.
I mean, we have at the Circle the ENTIRE Thief Soundtrack, INCLUDING a fan-made CD cover, so that if you want you can make a Thief CD with music from the game.

I suppose I can do a PDF but not exactly like this book. I used Blurb's software to do it and can't be exported as PDF but I'll find a way to make it as close to this book.
Right now I'm away from the computer where I have my Thief book files, I'll get back to it in within a week.

Um, they DO take credit cards, the universal equilizer you know. In fact, if you have Paypal, you can get a Paypal debit card you could use! I have one (never use it though)

What about fanart? Would selling artworks that were clearly inspired by Thief be unethical as well? I was considering it recently, so I'm wondering what you guys think of that.

I think he was referring to selling his own artwork, not other artist's artwork.
