To thief fans; Do you prefer 1 or 2?
Also what do you guys think of deadly shadows which was developed by a different studio?
If you don't already own this game I sugges you go out and buy it

Hard to say, I love them both so much, Thief 1 feels more aesthetical for my taste but also love the secret features in Thief 2, but ultimately I would choose Thief 2 but only for the part that its an improved version of the same engine. :)
I like how DS has guards that can detect if loot got stolen, the way weapons gets carried and those bright torches they walk with but mostly for the direction of artwork and pleased how story ended. :laff:
Most interesting part in DS story wise is how you can in docks district climb up into an apartment and read a quote from the local fisherman, who spotted a metal looking whale float by, marked with the words Cetus Amicus.
P.S. I can find negative aspects from all the series, but I prefer and tend to focus on the positive sides mostly. ;)
