My tutorial is different to what TypeRED accomplished. His vehicles are controlled by keys IIRC and therefore seem to be a replacement for the player.
I figured out how to control vehicles with keys but this is far away from what TypeRED has done.
You need a conversation which adds a PhysAttach-link from the vehicle to the player. But the car doesn't follow the players orientation and jumping is still an issue so I assume TypeRED has done something completely different.

If TypeRed does'nt want to finish this cool idea, maybe he would give it to the community to finish.
His notes, his models, his work. He would always be credited for his idea. It is just a matter of him visiting here again. Time will tell.
