you can just get the detonator driver extensions and PLAY the game in red-blue 3d vision

Thank you for the suggestion, I would like to know where can I find these driver extensions. Did you test with 3D glasses and in this case did you appreciate the result?

i can't view the url
use (
http://www.tinyurl.com) tinyurl to show long urls
the driver extension can be found on the nvidia website, here;
(
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dstereo_30.87.html)
you are required to have an nvidia video card, and your framerate will be halved (as frames for both left and right eye are needed for one combined frame)
i can't remember how it looked in thief, but it looked great in some games, and awful in some

Cool stuff!
I tired Anaglyph 3d stereo with some red blue stereo glasses, but everything ends up looking rather psychadelic, and I can hardly see all the 2d stuff (light gem and health).
How does Page flipped 3d stereo compare? Anyone know? Also, which page flipped glasses are good?

I have "3D" LCD monitor which makes 3d stereo picture (under nvidia "stereo interlacing") in its native resolution (1680x1050) with simple polarization glasses.
I use latest 3d stereoscopic (=3d vision) driver v182.07 for Vista 64 on 8800GTX (G80).
3D stereo does not render in ThiefG, Thief2, ThiefDS.
Yet first two games are "officially supported" by nvidia stereo driver.
Maybe ddfix or widescreen patch (essential to get native resolution) breaks /postprocesses nvidia "stereo rendering"?
Any ideas how to fix that?

And maybe a new thread for technical support may have been the more accepted thing to do than ressurecting a haun...... i mean old thread ;)

Now it's time for a solution ;)
