There may be confusion, biker. Patience dammit! :)
Thanks for all the work you've done for us. You've made many taffers happy!
You sure as hell should've bothered, but
you sure as hell shouldn't be so bothered! :sly:
Like I say below, this is good for those who haven't heard about it yet. AND, I'll add for emphasis that it's now here for posterity! It's not all about now, today, or even this week, but for the future of all tafferkind!
By the way, the instructions name the file "widescreen.bat" when it should be "DarkWidescreen.bat". Save us a few seconds of disorientation as "W" is bit removed from "D" in an alphabetical listing. :p
Also, the (
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/Thief_series) Thief Gold description states "a re-release that adds
two new chapters," instead of "three".

I'm quite surprised at the lack of attention this has got...what an accomplishment! even my roomy has a widescreen lcd computer screen, now if only I could persuade him to play Thief and not Crysis or MOH 4
I think the issue is that most widescreens are lcd's and in my experience, lcd's don't like to behave:ebil: but great job, thanks alot!

Just in case you want to change some of the "source" pages for this wiki or correct the wiki itself: T3 fan missions should work with the widescreen mode (by the way, why would I need this FOV patch at all? it works fine with resolution = -1 for me) after the new version of GarrettLoader is released. In the versions before the custom settings were moved along with the original savegames and thus you had to make them all new.

I believe its to correct the aspect ration, without the patch you dont actually get any more on screen real estate.

I have a 1280x800 resolution, FOV works for me too?

Minor question:
For Thief1/gold/2
the wiki claims:
Quote:
HUD stretch: Stretch
However, this isn't true, from what I've noticed. The lightgem isn't stretched, neither are items/weapons.
I've only notice the stretch in Thief3 TDS.
Is this correct?
