Yeah, is it me or does this gameplay has nothing to do with Thief ?
Actually, I stopped watching when he goes into full light under a torch before switching to water arrows and dousing it.

Hey, the video seems pretty cool, but I can't get your background music to stop. I tried just pressing pause and I also tried right-clicking and doing all sorts of things, including: muting the player; turning the volume all the way down; and stopping the music. Any suggestions?

Why are there cyrillic letters overlayed onto the video at the start?

It has everything to do with thief. its a recording of me playing the game. You can't get any more thief than that.
@ Geppanda: Hmm, that is weird.. It should work, I've tried it myself and the pause button works just fine. Well, in anycase, if you still are unable to enjoy the film without hearing the background music, you may watch the video from the google video site. Just go to (
http://video.google.com), then in the search box type thief trailer. Hope that will be of assistance.;)

Oh, if you are referring to the strange letters in the begginning, I thought it was a cool effect and it seemed to me it would fit perfect with a Thief setting. The effects are from the program I was editing with.

Hehe, great sound effects, now where have I heard those before? ;)
sNeaksie, I also had the problem of not being able to turn off the background music...it meant that the music in the trailer was playing over the background music.
sNeaksieGarrett on 21/5/2006 at 15:51
Hmm.. okay then, I think what i'll do is add a non-backround music page of "home" so that way people having trouble with it dont have to worry about the music anymore.
[edit]
I have now completed the edit of my homepage so that people who are having trouble with the background music may now just click the "click here" button at the bottom of the home page to go to a non-music version. ;) [/edit]
[edit2] I apologize to everyone, I did not realize that it was a browser issue. If you guys are using internet explorer, it was having problems because i had some extra code in there which would in effect null the pause button from working; then when you went to "click here", the music still played. Whenever I was in Firefox, I was not aware of this, because the certain code embeded into the html code does not work on Firefox...... Now, everything should be in working order. Please notify me if you guys have any more problems. [edit2]

sNeaksieGarrett, let's do a link exchange. A zombie graveyard and a Thief-fansite fit together very well.
