Then we seriously underestimated Karras' abilities :D
What if the spiders were actually more afraid of humans than we are of them?
Palantir on 25/4/2007 at 07:23
There will be words like homo-phobia in a spider's dictionary.....

but to not even being seen yourself by a Keeper is something very special.
Well, if that keeper hadn't revealed his identity, how could Garrett know that old guy there was a keeper?....

What if Artemus was actually the Garrett in the future who have travelled to the past?
nicked on 25/4/2007 at 11:41
then there'd be a whole bunch of nasty little time paradoxes and the universe would implode, spectacularly.
What if Garrett got rickets from never being exposed to the sun and Vitamin D?
imperialreign on 26/4/2007 at 01:23
he'd start stealing during the day . . . he's just that good
what if G got involved was trained by the Hammers instead of the Keepers?
Phyre on 26/4/2007 at 05:13
Well, I suspect that Garrett's Hammerite training would last only as long as it took to locate and acquire anything and everything of value in the Hammerite chapel. Then he'd be gone; happily fencing the loot for money for food/lodging and better thieving gear.
What if there were no water arrows?
alethic on 26/4/2007 at 07:19
No water arrows? Then Garrett would either sit around in the shadows for a lot longer waiting for torches to burn out, or learn to ghost properly, or invent the 'water sling'.
What if the guards didn't always say what they think when they hear mysterious noises?
Meisterdieb on 26/4/2007 at 17:12
The game would be a lot more boring and less funny.
What if the guards did not only look like clones, but they were indeed all brothers (cousins, father and sons... well from one family)?
qolelis on 26/4/2007 at 19:41
They would all live in the countryside and play the banjo.
What if rats could actually do all those things that the guards give them credit for?
Stony on 26/4/2007 at 20:10
Then rats would rule the world. Seriously, the guards think they can do anything.
What if Garrett actually joined one of the City Wardens?
Stony
Peanuckle on 26/4/2007 at 22:50
Then the game would quickly become monotonous: Steal this, nab that, off this loser. Until Garrett got sick of paying 'cuts' and gave his warden a cut of a different kind.
What if Garrett gave the eye Visine to get rid of that nasty red glow in the cutscene?
