That is not my understanding. Based on testing a release candidate, I think that the gate becomes unlocked after you have completed "all your other objectives", including get the key to Orodruin, and get the spear, and possibly also the loot.
I don't think that the rosary is absolutely necessary, but I did not check that. It cannot hurt.:)

indeed. the gate will open if you got the required loot, the spear and the key

the rosary is helpfull against the windballs but not required.

No surprise. I got the Spear and required loot earlier in the mission. I can't remember if I got the rosary first or the key, but I got the key late in the mission.

I don't know where Mean Jeanne's recording is.
I know that I have to make a silver gear. But I have one useful piece of silver. Where can I find another one?

hoi vera,

the mean jeanne recording:frob the victrola in the VIP bar.
the recording is playing there, if you frob the victrola, the music will stop and you will have the recording in inventory. btw: when in inventory you can use it to listen to the music whenever you like, and there are 3 more records you can collect in this mission

the siver gear:yes, the usefull piece of silver is correct., now you need an item to " silverize": a bronze gear. ( and ofcourse a machine to do this;), you might wanna try the replicator:cool:

Thanks very much for such a quick answer. I've collected three records and one rare record. I also wonder where the key to the locked door next to the door with bronze gear lock is (on the ground level, where four camera switches are). I also have only 5900 in loot. Where can I found the next 600 in loot?

@vera:the key for the clockwork is in the office upstairs overlooking the stairs.with the two guards. it is lying on the table behind the guard facing the door.

and with the clockwork you will find 500 loot. that last 100... I have no idea what you got and what not:cheeky:

Finding all the little "secrets" was the most fun about the mission. I got frustrated trying to get the silver key and dumped my full inventory into the machine including dewdrop and laughed when I got what I needed. Finishing, every objective and finding all the loot; was the most fun I've had in a long time.

also in mission 2, you did find the dewdrop(s)?
