I can't run Thief 2 demo mission on original Thief 2 demo mission (v1.11 on v1.01) - nevertheless this is exactly the same file extension? This is .MIS file. Why it not work?

you are not supposed to go to those places, but I guess I can floor that lightpost. the mission has been reprocessed with NewDark, so you won't be able to run it under the original engine.

Mission loot in this map possible to get (map The Unwelcome Guest) is 2725. But I see that 2735 is a total loot in this map. Should be 2725, or 2735?

in the updated map it's possible, as that last piece of loot has been made available.

There are two mechanists on the roof in level "The Unwelcome Guest", and my game style needs to eliminate all enemies from the map, but for me is impossible to get the roof with NewDark release of Thief 2 demo. I discovered that here are two "ladder" places - (

currently, I have no plans for dropping ladders around the level for your convenience.

So, my question would be - how to get roof of the tower? As I've said, to kill these two mechanists. Getting the roof by jumping and jumping (in chimney, by using crate) is too hard.
