Hi,
I am experiencing game saves being destroyed after the 13th save in NewDark 1.21. Anyone else having this issue. I can go back to an earlier save, and repeat the steps, but then when I make a save game number 14, the game crashes, and when trying to reload the save is gone. Looking in All saves, where the fm saves are, it has been corrupted or destroyed.
Any ideas with NewDark v1.21 possibly doing this?

That never happened to me in Newdark. You should move your T2-installation to another folder/directory and try again. Maybe your HDD is bad at a certain place.

Someone has reported the same thing also, so we are still investigating the cause.

if it crashes, there should be a crash.dmp - zip it up and share it.

Where?
Do you overwrite a savegame or is this a new one?

There is a crash.dmp, but good luck in reading it. It is in code, although a few words like game.save can be made out, the cause is still unkown.

@fibanocci Both, overwriting, and new slots. Particularly here was the 12th save. Crashes thief2 to the desktop, and looking through the all saves folder, the saves are destroyed, so they can't be examined.
I personally haven't had this issue with any of the Thief games, except TDS, once a crash occured it was usally eating up a save.gam, and crashed to the desktop. This is a new experience for me and NewDark, as I always eat up the save game slots, and overwrite, and overwrite without consequence. I recently upgraded to v1.21 from v1.19, and this is when the save.gam crashes started occurring.

Did you just attempt to copy-paste a gigantic blob of BINARY data into a forum post? Seriously? Someone else please confirm that I'm not imagining this. :weird:
Just... wow.

yyeeah -_-
you need to use winrar/winzip/7zip to compress the dmp into an archive and upload that to mediafire, sendspace or similar online storage site, and post the link.
