I'm getting this frustrating bug in Thief2X: Shadows of the Necroage (this happens even with the normal, unmodified version of T2X), in the very first mission, just before you meet Malak for the first time. As you can see in the video, the wisp just doesn't move at all and the lightbridge never appears, making progress impossible. Wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions or know how to fix this? I've even reinstalled the whole game and reapplied T2Fix but that hasn't done anything. The weird thing is, earlier this year I played through T2X completely bug-free and this never happened back then, I haven't changed anything with my installation between these two playthroughs, either.

Can you upload a save please, preferably 2, one just before you arrive at the room with the wisp and one when the wisp first appears.
Also what FM loader are you using?

Every other FM or OM works absolutely fine, no problems there. Bit of a headscratcher, I assume there's a specific script not firing but my thief2.log doesn't seem to be complaining about anything, no idea what's changed since I played last, only a few months ago.

Both of those saves work absolute normally with me, particle walkway laid correctly all the way to the exit tunnel.
Got a save where the particle pathway is broken?

Sure, I'll upload a save with the wisp stuck on the floor, for me it's hovering just a bit above the floor and doesn't move over the water at all. Here you go: (

Again no problem, the particle walkway was laid correctly and I got to the exit tunnel no problem.
In this case I doubt if we can help further, if we can't replicate the issue we can't advise on a fix.
You've already re-installed your Thief game by the sounds of it, so can only suggest it's something to do with your comp, might sound a bit extreme but when did you last update your graphics drivers? Have you got NVidia graphics card, if so go to their site and update your graphic drivers, not promising anything but on rare occasions that does solve issues, and anyway doesn't do any harm having the latest graphic card drivers.

I'm on the latest Nvidia drivers and even after a fresh restart there's still no change. I'll just have to chalk it up as a weird bug and skip the mission, thanks for helping either way, appreciate it!
