Thief3. Best game I've ever played!

Hello, I'm new to Thief and to this forum. I've never played any of the Thief games before (I suffer from motion sickness and unfortunately first person games make me seasick :eww:).

So when I learned that Thief: Deadly Shadows had a third person option, I decided to give it a try. Wow! I'm just totally blown away. I honestly believe this is the best game I've ever played in my life. What an extraordinary experience! I've never played anything like it.

I wish I could play the first two games, because I'd love to know more of the background story. Ah well! No matter. I've just installed the Editor so maybe I can make my own adventures :cheeky:.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello.

Now if we could just remove or reduce the head-bob in the other games, you'd get the complete experience!

Pssst. I hope you have asbestos-skin. It can get hot in here with all the flames. Just ignore 'em. Seriously. Consider it an initiation/hazing ritual, or something. "Tiptoe" is a good name.

It's too bad you can't play the first two, they truly are incredible games and Thief 3 is pretty good too.

Thief is beyond compare. I'm glad you found it.

Yeah, it can get a bit warm around here. Good for those cold winter days when there's nothing else to do.hehe.

Just by the by, what did you enjoy more, Thief 1 or 2?

I'm a bit biased, because Metal Age was my first Thief gaming experience. I'd seen a friend play Dark Project's "Assassins!" sometime before and remembered his enthusiasm. TMA came with a friend's soundcard. I played it through twice, once on Normal, than on Expert. So TMA has a special place. I had questions about the storyline, and that led me here to TTLG. When I got around to playing TDP, it took some getting used to the differences. I hadn't learned 80% of what I could do as a player, yet. But the story....

Man! Ever since that cutscene.... :eek: :D I can't get enough Thief. :cool:
