Hi folks
I remember that Dark Project has been a real surprise for me when I first played the game.
But it has been several years since I first played this game , I was like 16 years old.
I gave up after the dreadful Bonehoard because I really thought this game needed some iron nerves (and it actually does)
Today I've got a laptop and the few interesting games I would like to try will most certainly not run on my computer, so I searched the net and I found the "Dark Project Collection", including the three games.
I immediately ordered the package because I want to finish the three games in a row.
But i'm wondering, does this package includes the "gold" versions of the games ?
Cause it's the french version, so I guess this package has been released in the US before.
Can somebody tell me if the Dark Project Collection includes the gold versions of the game or not ?

Hey hey ! a new french taffer ! :D

Okay, so no french version of Thief Gold... Whant a shame ! :(
Are the Gold Missions worth playing ? Are they important for the story ?

I really like the Gold additions. There are new monsters, textures, and 3 huge levels. Thieves Guild is an amazing mission, Mage Towers is very original, and Song of the Caverns is really creepy at first, and great fun to ghost in the Opera house. They flesh out the story somewhat by adding in Garrett actually having to hunt down and acquire each of the talismans. I only played Gold until 6 months ago when I got The Dark Project. It has its own feel to it, and IMHO, they are both worth owning. Some of the levels have been altered somewhat in Gold, and it is neat to compare/contrast the changes, additions, and bonuses.

Barbach, play Dark Project first, it worth playing too. Just to see a Lost City at its original state. Only... keep a backup save before you jump over the lava until you're sure that you can jump back!
And skating burricks in Bonehoard, too ;)

I bought the collection set too, and I wonder why they could not put gold edition it (I guess one more cd is too much). It was just 15€ so it was a good deal anyway. :)

I am very interested to know where you taffers purchased this package deal. My disks are so old and scratched up from constantly being played; I need to buy new ones that are not so "beat up". Can someone please post a link? :thumb: :thumb:

In the US you can find it at CompUSA, and other such boutiques.
It comes in a Platinum Dual Pack for 6 to 12 dollars.
