Can I install both onto the same computer, or will I have to uninstall Gold? Will GarrettLoader alllow for this, if it is possible? Thanks. I just bought The Dark Project. I have only ever owned/played Gold, and I have always wanted to try the original, as I hear there are some diffferences. Thanks!

Original just has less, only the Lost City level is a bit better imvho. AND it has the advantage of not having to play the godawful thieves guild map. I realise this isn't an answer to your question but I don't see the need to uninstall gold for the original.

Yeah, just use different directories for the install. :p
If you bought T: DP just to see what the differences were, then personally you wasted your $4:00 (sorry, what's bargain-bin games going for nowadays?)

I didn't waste a dime. I bought a Thief game. I am a collector of sorts (400+ retail PC games). I have several copies/versions of Thief:Gold, Thief:Metal Age, and Deadly Shadows, not to mention the half-dozen Deus Ex's I own (all different). I like having variations of my favorite games, and supporting the companies who continue to publish these games, by purchasing them, helps keep old games in print. I dunno, maybe $4-5 is a lot to you, but I spend more on lunch.
