Well I'll be damned; it always displayed fine for me when I checked it with an image display program, and indeed it both it and the one you made display absolutely identically for me in gwenview and ImageMagick. But I replaced mine with yours and firefox does indeed show it properly. How bizarre.

That's part of another project. Basically, people tend to create these documents with Windows, it doesn't do a terribly good job of handling unicode, and plain text documents have no way of expressing the encoding they're using. So I have to find every document with a problem, figure out what weird character set it was written in, and convert it to unicode. Most browsers have a way to change the display encoding so it's just a matter of finding one that looks good and running iconv.
And that one's not even a text document; it's something horribly converted from word to html by word. As expected, word got it wrong. I did fix it, but I'm sure there are others.

thiefmissions doesn't generally host demos, at least not in the main database, and as far as I know, everything you list is a demo. Is that not correct? (Actually I can't immediately come up with any info on the "Jailbreak" you mention, so if you want to provide a link, I'll take a look.)
It is in the plans to eventually keep track of demos somehow, and at that time I'll try to track them all down. That time isn't now, though.

The first one is a demo. The second and third ones (impurities and two steps) are missions.
