I know it's pointless to compress missions as they have to be decompressed anyways.
It's not pointless unless you delete your archived FM's once they are installed using fmsel.
But I don't see the point of converting 100's of FM's to save 1-3% of disk space when hard drives are so cheap today, and transfer speeds are measured in Mbit/sec.

Added 2 more though.
OK, I've added the Prisoner's Revenge conversion and switched back to the original version of Serge Bank. Might be nice to know what was broken, since the updated version was a couple of months newer. Also finally added a NewDark note to those missions which require it.

Thanks!
I just looked up the thread for (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99930&p=1355782&viewfull=1#post1355782) SergeBank.
The trouble started right after the updated version (oct 29) got released.
I just opened the .MIS files for both the old and the updated version.
The old one references bank.gam, while the new one references 2.gam instead.
But both ZIPs only include bank.gam. So the game is unable to find any gamesys file in the updated version.
One option would be to rename bank.gam to 2.gam, so the mission will use the custom GAM file from the ZIP.
The other option - as outlined in the thread - would be to copy the original dark.gam as 2.gam.
Unfortunately I see no statement from the author what the right fix would be or what specifc changes were made in the custom gamesys.
I will try both variants and post an update here some time later today after I had the chance to see which option works best.

OK. I had a look into it.
I tried both renaming Dark.gam and bank to 2.gam and both variants were fully playable and I could not spot any difference.
So I guess going with the custom version created by the author would not be a mistake.
Here is the (
http://www.gnartsch.de/Thief-FM/beta/NC_SergeBank.zip) corrected updated version (bank.gam renamed to 2.gam).
Comparing with the old version (.gam+.mis) reveals some differences, though :
the new version has rain (which is nice), some different minor loot-placement,
but also a couple of pathfinding problems regarding the AI which are worse then what can be seen in the old version.
So, if I had to vote which version to host, it might well be the old one, since the new version feels like a failed attempt to improve or fix the mission.

Give it some time. Perhaps epithumia is busy with work, etc. or traveling. I'm sure he'll get to it as soon as he can. :)

Hey Epithumia! Hopefully you'll check this thread. :D
Just adding you the link for the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142207) 48 Hours Contest thread, contest that ended a couple of months ago. All links for the missions are here, so it should help you to display them on Thiefmissions faster ;)
Good luck!
Oh, and I forgot author's names weren't displayed, so here's the link for the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142315) results, that may prove useful :D

The year is almost coming to its end.
Might be just the right time to check the list of (
http://www.gnartsch.de/Thief-FM/Thief_updates.shtml) missing missions and updates so that people who might have missed them for whatever reason get a chance to download them in those cold winter evenings.
I just revisited the entire list and updated the links to valid servers.
