Thief-style nightmares are cool. It's funny because I have had two Thief style nightmares in which I am surrounded by zombies. Man.... I think I play Thief too much! Time to make a post on the "1000 clues you have been playing thief too much thread." :p

Well, if you want some action, just dream about being the VanVernon stable boy.
drink ----> monitor.
thanks a lot.

Heh Glad I'm not the only one with these on occassion.
My last two thiefy dreams have been the same. I have this way of dreaming I'm 'someone' else (the someone depends on what the dream is about. Sometimes its people I"ve never even *heard* of before, never mind familiar characters) yet seem to retain my own identity. Sort of like you're riding around in the person's head, but don't always have any real control.
The last one that I remember, I was dreaming I was Garrett - or with him or some such thing - in the 'Return to the Cathedral'. Of course, being a dream, gone were the bad graphics, and the safety of playing it from behind a monitor. No, this was 'real'. I'm not sure exactly how much I went through, but I remember climbing around in the library, then getting swarmed by a few zombies and chased by a couple haunts. Scared me to pieces and I went running out of the library to hide in the dark corner of a lean-to. Only to discover that my double identity had fled, and I was just me being cornered by these things. I got so scared I woke myself up when a zombie started throwing zombie-pieces at me. :laff:
Hey, who said dreams actually make sense? At least that one made slightly more sense than half the Doctor Who dreams I've had in the last few months. Now those are weird!

Well. As long If you haven't dreamt of being that green, fat "Absorbalof" character, then you should be fine. I would be very worried if I did! :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

:laff: No, nothing that weird, thankfully. Never the aliens, just the Doctor and the Tardis and some unspecified character that I appear to play. (not Rose. . .I don't know who it was. Wasn't exactly me either) And of course, all new adventures. *coughs* Thats what I get for watching the latest episode just before I dropped into bed. I kept staying up late to watch the latest, then immediately dropped into bed. At least while playing Thief, I had the sense to do it earlier then read or something before I went to sleep. lol But not these episodes of Who. Noooo, I had to watch them, drop into bed then dream. Didn't listen to myself when I told me they'd wait till I had slept first.
On the other hand, at least those dreams aren't scary. Thief dreams tend to be a lot more suspensful and wake you up with a start.
