Hi, my name is Gabrieloup and i'm already quite known for doing small projects such as remakes like Charlie Oscar Delta for Call of Duty 4 and Xenomorphs Contra Yautja for Aliens versus Predator 2, and i'm willing to help Black Cat Games and Thievery community with my next project, called Thievery Gold.

Info : Thievery Gold is a
fan driven project and it is
not supported by Black Cat Games, however it won't be as buggy as the Anniversary patch was, and i started the topic here at Through The Looking Glass site in order to promote the project. So before people start asking the same questions over and over again, here's my quick FAQ :
Q : What is Thievery Gold?
A : Thievery Gold, like the name already implies, is a custom version of Thievery 1.7.1, running with remastered music and textures from Thievery Anniversary, including literally ALL custom maps from Thievery, and a few other extras as well.
Q : Why did you name the project "Thievery Gold"?
A : Simple, because like Thief got the gold edition called "Thief Gold", it would be cool to also name my project "Thievery Gold" as well. I had other names panned as well, such as "Thievery Special Edition" and "Thievery Ultimate Edition", but i found them exaggerated so i simply put the name "Thievery Gold" instead.
Q : Does your project Thievery Gold include credits?
A : Yes, unlike my previous mods that didn't include specific credits to specific persons, this time Thievery Gold includes full credits to everybody related to the project.
Q : Since when you started this project?
A : Since 2011-2012, i don't really remember anymore.
Q : When will it be released?
A : As soon as possible, probably 28/02/2014.
Q : Where will it be released?
A : Moddb, as with my other modifications.
Q : Will i still need Unreal Tournament to run this mod?
A : Yeah, too bad, but yeah.

I never even tried Thievery in the first place. I've got Unreal Tournament on GOG, so if you really are releasing it tomorrow then I might give it a shot (after the new Thief. :p )

Not really, but the game does offer bots however, and they have slightly better intelligence than the AI's that appear in Thief 2, and also, most of the AI, even loot, in all maps in all missions, appears in random parts of the map, offering a different experience each time you re-play the game. And bots also have customization in some degree.

That's completely fine. I always tend to announce mods when i'm right about to release them, to avoid unnecessary boredom for the public.

People still play Thievery. Ask Shug, he plays from time to time still. Thievery 1.7 was released January 11.

Wrong, Thievery 1.7 came out years ago, actually i think you're referring to Thievery 1.7.1, a long awaited update. But actually, Thievery Gold is a bigger expansion to Thievery 1.7.1, again, i stated that it includes all custom levels and maps possible and remade skins and music.

Hey, Thievery is one of the best stealth game mods out there, and also the first stealth multiplayer game (as a mod) in the world, and i just made it better. Without that mod my friend, The Dark Mod and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer wouldn't exist, at least not in the way it is.
