Wrong, Thievery 1.7 came out years ago, actually i think you're referring to Thievery 1.7.1, a long awaited update. But actually, Thievery Gold is a bigger expansion to Thievery 1.7.1, again, i stated that it includes all custom levels and maps possible and remade skins and music.
Wrong.. BA is correct.. Thievery 1.7 came out in January... thievery 1.7.1 is a shortly awaited update of less then a month and there will probably be a few small updates soon to follow it..
and just to note.. is this actually going to be an expansion..? including other peoples custom maps isn't really an expansion.. and considering all custom maps come in 1 file already.. all your really doing is changing skins and music...? are you going to be adding game types or changing game rules or creating new maps? also many of the custom maps are broken in some regard and need fixing, will you be doing this too? or just including the bugged maps too?

There's also variants of the original Thievery maps as well, some maps you can decide if you want to play with civilians or not, also, i tried my best on removing bad maps from the game too, but there might be at least 5 of them wish are bad, otherwise you have about 80 great maps instead. Also, note that Thievery Gold is not compatible with 1.7.1 servers, because Thievery Gold uses custom sounds and textures, so it causes a mismatch error.

I'd be up for playing some Thievery with some folks from this forum sometime. I only ever played it with bots so it'd be nice to actually play with real people.

Thievery Gold has 1.7.1 pre-installed inside the compilation already, but it also uses sounds and textures from anniversary, so it's the best of both worlds.
