Have just replayed this T1 mission that is infamous for being one of the missions that FAILS with Newdark as there is a deal breaking bug that when you pick up the Holy Hammer off the altar the mission crashes, thus preventing you finishing the mission
However....playing it via Newdark 1.22 it works normally, No crashing, No problem...

EDIT: 2 people have just reported this does not work for them, one played the mission the other used my save
So is there is STILL a Newdark crashing issue ?
then again others appear to seem to have no problems, the jury is out.....try it yourself and report in this thread please

here you go Voodoo, just to let you know you need to go upstairs first and enter this room which causes the Holy Hammer to float away through the hole in the ceiling.....it is then teleport downstairs where you will find it floating above the altar

i can confirm i also managed to take the hammer upstairs and down to Jakob's tomb, place it on the tomb and the tomb lid opened as it should.....just one thing i noticed, if you put the hammer down in the wrong place, ie up against a wall you could lose the hammer as it disappeared into the wall.....is That a Newdark issue or a Thief engine issue ?.....will cover that issue in my walkthrough anyway

2 people have now checked this for me and both report that this does bug still exists, so with the deepest regret i have to with draw my previous excitement.....
but it does raise the question as to how come The Thieve's Quarters now works absolutely fine / no crashing with me when playing via Newdark 1.22 but still crashes with other people when playing via 1.22
any thoughts anyone ?

it seems like it wanted to work but after a couple quick stutters if closed game,sad cause it was a great fan mission from what i remember

with 1.22 the hammer seemed to go off into oblivion, but I found it had returned to it's starting position. There were some places it tried to "fly" through but could not and was still frobbable. right-click (throw) was not a good idea but "drop" worked on said few places such as on top of a stone object.
