Things I liked ("liked" -in the sense that i prefer them to their original counterparts)
-As Lytha said, the separation of frobbing and using objects to different keys was good.
-I liked that the keys were separated from the inventory, but I was kinda missing fumbling with the keys. (Not missing fumbling with all items with the keys, that sucked in the originals)
-I liked that guards could put away their weapons.
-I liked that guards had a separate low-lever search mode where they were not expecting anything dangerous, thus were not holding a weapon in their hands.
-I liked the improved mantling.
-I liked the way fire arrows actually illuminated the area and not just decreased your stealth.
-I liked that they introduced the "times caught" stat in the debriefing screen.
-I liked the fact that the loudness of different floors were better varied, and there actually was a difference between the volume of walking on metal and walking on tile floors. (Although I didn't like the way that soft surfaces were made too loud and there was no such thing as a silent floor that you could jump on without making noise.)
-I liked the fact that Ai could carry lights.

I liked going to Stonemarket and torturing the hammerites and guards with oil puddles, knockout grenades and moss arrows.

Just a little sidenote to our reality and pro-&-con-TDS discussions: I sort of liked the idea that you have to find the right key, especially when you were in a hurry. :p

That was certainly fun as long as you didn't need to scroll through the inventory for 10 seconds to start browsing actual keys ;o

I wonder if that is more a matter of oversized FMs than of the original game.

Oversized FMs AND the lack of ability to throw away useless things at times.
