I agree w/deth and koki. That article was whiny as fuck, and I personally don't remember ever needing to alt-tab out of a game in my entire life. If I am playing a game, then that's what I am doing. I don't give a fuck about emails, I'm popping skulls. I am playing a game to forget about work. If it's important, they will call me on the damn phone.
And that was the latest installment of "I don't need it, so people who would like it are by definition stupider than me". Don't forget to tune in next week!

I like [by which I mean I don't] the way alt-tabbing never works, but accidentally so much as looking at the windows key is guaranteed to instantly hurl you back to the desktop and probably hang the game at the same time.

Seriously. It'd be nice to be able to look at game guides online without navigating through all of the quit menus, but I can live without it.
It's the lockups when I press the Windows key instead of CTRL that I can't forgive.

Well, if you name the article "RPS
Demands: 10 Things All PC Games Should Do" then it better be about something really damn important, and not about that you are too lazy to put a DVD in the drive, or too lazy to change the directory path during install(Seriously
what the fuck).
No, it really shouldn't.
