It all makes sense now...

It is funny to imagine myself in different situations here. If I were the CEO of said AV company, what would I do? Would I fire somebody over the mistake, and how would I explain it to customers? I guess I would probably point out the above (it has happened to all of them at some point) and try to downplay the situation.
If I was a tech who had just built and sold a system equipped with the software and this happened, what would I do? The customer would be upset (rightly so). It wouldn't look good to say it was someone else that caused the bug.

Dude, you really do have all the traits of Asperger's. Go find yourself a shrink or a counselor. It's for your own good.

Remind me where you'r from again lost_soul. Your posts are odd, to me.

Being racist on the internet ain't easy.
Anyway, this picture always makes me laugh. Maybe because I've been in that situation myself and can see the hilariousness now with some distance.

I recently read an article about an anti-virus software accidently flagging part of Windows as a potential threat, preventing it from loading and hence nuking lots of users' machines as a result. I'm not trying to single out the company that made the product, because if you look back through history this has happened to pretty much all of the AV companies at least once.
Even if you beta-test your updates/product carefully, sometimes shit will still happen. Its inevitable. The worst part about this was that it was the professionl version of the software that suffered from the glitch. The free version from the same company didn't have the bug... ouch! It really cracked me up.
I've heard of that too and it does happen periodically with different levels of severity. Nothing to do with Windows, everything to do with AV tho. I actually wrote my own keylogger as an exercise once and my AV picked it up.... because of the filename. Once I changed the filename to something else, it ran without a hitch.
Still, why this would make you laugh uncontrollably is beyond me.

Maybe because the antivirus program does exactly what you fear a virus might do to your system? It may not make me laugh out loud, but it's not that hard to see the absurdity in this situation. Of course it's easier to put him in a box labelled "Aspergers" or "[country]" than to feel so obtuse.
Anyway, where was I.. Oh yeah, erectile dysfunction. It's hilarious. At least the first time. The second time I was starting to get a little nervous. But it was that woman. Just didn't work with her. Maybe because she was a tiny bit too dominant. (She forbade me to hum while kissing her. Just why, baby?) Or maybe it was her slightly weird lionine skull. Or the gin tonics I had. Can't really say. I thought she was pretty, but part of me didn't think so. Strange thing is: Usually I remember the names of all the women I fooled around with, but now I cannot remember her's for the life of me. I could ask my lil sis of course. After all she was a friend of hers. But I can imagine what she'll say: Shows where your brain is, brother. Damn. Sylvia? (Yes, Mickey?) How do you call your loverboy?

Posts don't exist in a vacuum and aren't exempt from the collective baggage you've emptied all over the rest of the forums like a gym bag full of ripe underwear. lost_soul's schadenfreude at other people 'suffering' from their decisions to accept things like Steam's internet requirement hasn't been (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134089&p=2035346&viewfull=1) particularly subtle, and this isn't a million miles removed from that.
Of course, the vast majority of his TTLG career has been one long, elaborate troll, so maybe it's not so much Asperger's as much as it is assholishness. Am I still racist if I go with that?
And is it just me or does it sound like you've been hitting the old absinthe a bit too hard in that post?

Ha ha ha.
Nuff respect Koyla. Love it. Just so out there. It's post like this that make me thing perhaps I could tolerate you in RL after all. I dunno, it's just the raw honesty of it.
Although humming whilst kissing? Wtf is WRONG with you?!
