I know this is gonna sound completely fantastic and immpossible but the following are a bunch of things that would've made "Thief" a better experience for me. (In this case Thief Gold)
- In the level "The Sword" the original laughter at the maze replaced with Beavis and Butthead laughs.
- In "Down into the Bonehoard" Garret would whistle the Indiana Jones theme everytime special loot was aquired. (Mystic's heart and soul)
- John Cleese as brother Murus.
- An Iron Maiden guest appearance at the Opera House playing "Phantom of the Opera"
- Clowns instead of Haunts, with the same abilities.
- Dancing mages, I don't know, but I feel those guys would make terrific dancers.
- And a cameo appeareance of Bill and Ted from "Bill and Ted Excellent Adventure" at the Escape and Maw of Chaos levels.

The Horn of Quintuplets plays Louis Armstrong
Burricks belch pink gas
Benny guards make fart sounds
Hammers sound like rednecks, pagans sound like asians
Guards and servants change voices, even when attacking/running away.
That could be done, either by making it an 'enhancement' project or an FM. But people here gripe whenever you change an OM.

Not getting stuck while mantling through some windows
Better AI for guards (at times)
Improved graphics
Less creature levels, more Hammerite based levels
Less zombies, more haunts
More forgiving rope arrows

On that note, more forgiving ladders.
It took the FPS community a couple of years to get ladders right, but they finally did.

Some of those ideas would make a truly better experience. Bill and Ted would be an excellent (most excellent) way of breaking the tension in the Maw of Chaos. :laff:
