Yeah. Almost two months after René had been given the source code, during which time he had been in touch and made his last statement on the matter, he ceased communication with everyone in the fan community (unless someone is keeping a secret), and within three months, he was leaving Eidos-Montréal behind. His replacement eventually said he'd look into it, and the next thing he said was that he didn't know what we were talking about, which is when our jaws dropped and it's been bad ever since. No paid employee has since responded with anything that wasn't baffling or a repeat of René's last statement; yet, people who state they aren't on any payroll are doing all the talking, saying nothing new or trustworthy, and even acting like our continued inquiries are all new with no precedent. These same people push fan-made media as though they are corporate owned and created, which only further undermines any hope of trust.

Oh yes an extra "so" in there. That makes the entire question unreadable ? So sorry its called distraction's and haste.
Too many pronouns referring to different things within the same sentence. Insufficient qualification.

Seems to make perfect sense to me
Considering you wrote the question, this comes as no surprise to me.

They are either going to release the code to the community OR they are going to give it to GOG to make more money. The odds of them doing both are astronomical.
I think the way it generally (sometimes) works is that the publisher gives GoG whatever resources they need to make the product (the game) function better on modern systems. So, Square would, potentially, supply GoG with the source. That wouldn't necessarily preclude them (Square Enix) from also releasing the source to the community. Square's ability to monetize the old Dark Engine games via GoG isn't negated if the source code is also released to us. See: Interplay.

Do you perchance work for one of them ?
No.

You seem to be missing the point. We didn't create any barriers in the first place.
I didn't argue that you did.

Really? An example if you would.

No one else seems to have any problem understanding what I wrote.
I read a LOT of books and I see much worse sentence structure and spelling.
And they are professionals with editors and proofreaders.
You are being deliberately obtuse.

I'm officially not allowed to speak about my own map I made for the community showing which countries we taffers reside in, nor the one Vae was working on to replace it.
DJ Riff's 3D animation of the F4ITH/THI4F anagram is held up as proof and assurance of official EM advertising, though no official from EM has ever stated that's what they meant with the annoying use of the "4".
Having told an Admin. over there that I wish to have my account disabled, they have refused, and one mod. is acting like I want
her specifically to do it for me herself, which has never been the case and as if I cared who rather than done period, and stating I haven't talked to an Admin. after I had. I've had to go through and revise and/or delete the posts myself. The Admin. I talked to even started putting copyright disclaimers in his PMs, though I haven't quoted him to anyone.

Not to mention again that you are in the middle of editing a post and it goes *poof*. Then they tell you that no, you werent just editing the post, you in fact deleted the post. Even after you explain that you were merely editing the post, nope, you in fact deleted it. Even if you didnt delete the post, you still deleted it. End of story.

Are you always such an asshole or do you make a special effort just for me ?
Please do continue to enlighten me and prove how much more educated you are compared to me.
At first i just thought you were naive and stupid but now I see that you are really one of those "I am so much better then you that I feel the need to correct and belittle you at every possible moment!"
How will you prove that you are better then me now ?
I can only wonder while I await your next enlightening and fascinating rejoinder.
Please show us your fascinating intellectual prowess!

Thelvyn, just ignore that chump. I think he is just trying to argue for the sake of arguing. He just keeps babbling, and its totally boring. :)
