The answer to that is quite simple. I usually dont get involved with any type of long winded discussion of any kind, unless it involves my fanatical overprotection of The Dark Project. Its not what Im known for here. So on the very rare occasions when I attempt to, I am the one who usually comes across as a misguided fool!

I see. Well, don't change your habits on account of me. :p
I found Dia's first post to be very long winded, and also your own personal recommendations to lurk more... so I kind of get what you mean. :cheeky:

I'm still waiting for links as I'm interested to see examples. Thank you.
Examples? Obviously you forgot to take your blinders off this morning, because there have been examples posted left & right, right here in this thread. Good Lord. You have twisted, obfuscated, derailed, and turned inside out every response to your posts here. Plus, you've used the Royal 'We'. Enough already! Your posts are tedious and tiresome. Just. Quit. Posting.
Just to refresh your (obviously short and selective) memory; I do not answer to you. You are
NOT at EM now, dear. If you haven't gotten the jist of all the previous posts responding to yours, then you truly are hopeless. Again; this is TTLG, not the EM forums. I sincerely hope you're not holding your breath while waiting for me to respond to your insistence that I provide proof of this and proof of that, etc., etc., and so on and so forth. You have already proven my point more than once in this thread.

I love it when I crack me up.

Why? And why would you want to sound so elitist and unfriendly?

You misunderstand again. I'm not asking you to answer "to" me. I'm asking you to answer me. Big difference. I requested links to verify the points made in your initial post. That is all I have asked of you... and only then will you prove any point.
Yes, I know this is TTLG - it clearly says that on my browser.
No, I'm not holding my breath - I already know you can't find examples of where I have been, I quote:

puffed-up, self-grandizing, & condescending attitude.....
and, yet, read your posts in this thread...
Posting off topic comments and videos is not really contributing to sensible discussion, so I'll ignore those too. Only to repeat again that I'm not hanging around in here for any drama but just to answer peoples' questions (if there are any) about EM's forum and the ToU.

Hold up kiddies, play nice.
It's not hard to imagine that the Eidos moderators are trying to fix the suckiness there with moderating. Sucky forums suck and fixing is needed - appropriate moderating is an important part of preventing a forum from sucking. Clearly the rest of the world can spot that the problem there isn't actually a shortage of moderating - but if all you've got is a hammer then everything is going to look like a nail.
Eidos/Square Enix shouldn't be blanking their fan/customer base for 3 years and shouldn't be using volunteers to manage the resulting nerd rage.

I agree it's been too long a time in the darkness without so much as a crumb to nourish us. :(
The negativity isn't really that bad, tbh. The majority of taffers appear happy to continue waiting... I guess that's all they can do, realistically. The one's that are negative are very outspoken, of course... quite understandable and to be expected under the circumstances.

I left the Eidos forums after a few months, not because of the moderation, but because the users were all so staggeringly stupid. The amount of thickness may not reach the heights of many other gaming forums, still I would understand moderators seriously censoring the posters in there.
It's super fun to think that the official community, would EM one day ask for input from their fans, is those forums. Well, fun because I don't give a damn about thi4f, that is.

The majority actually appears... uhhh, "
Happy" to continue waiting?? That actually made me LOL! :D Thanks Thiefessa!

That's not too cool. How many millions are being spent on the game, and nothing for someone helping to fend off the onslaught of negativity? Hmm, maybe you'll be rewarded when it's all said and done, though... with more than just a collector's edition copy of the game.
Personally, I've learned (based on watching others) I should never be a moderator for any forum talking about anything I really like -- such as Thief. In the end, the experience can be so frustrating and draining that you don't like that topic nearly as much anymore. I woudn't want that to happen. I'm afraid that if Thiefessa doesn't pass the torch to someone else soon, she could end up ambivalent to Thief.

I doubt she's even seen the cloister. :)
