This is just plain illogical ... - by Chade

... but I'm finding the game easier with strict rules (excepting gunther and anna) that say I will not kill anything at all, than doing it any other way. This is despite the fact that I have much the same skills as one other time I have gone through Deus Ex, nor have I found any tunnels or passages I didn't previously know about.
The only difference is that I have less equipment ...
I think its because now I feel no inclination to wonder how I'll take a certain guard out. Maybe also becasue I know about LAM climbing now <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> .

LAM climbing?

LAM climbing: When you put a grenade on a wall, it froms a small ledge, which you can hop onto. Than you can put another LAM a bit further up, hop onto that, and remove your first LAM from the wall, etc.
It's slow, but effective.

Heh, didn't know about that. Have to try it out the next time I install DX... This can mean some interesting choices in approach routes...

LAM climbing seems like it could be open a lot of places to exploration. Now we just need a way to fall extremely large distances without getting hurt, like Thief's frogbeasting.

Good idea, though. :thumb:

Hah!, I wish I could pretend it
was my idea, but actaully I got it from Harvey Smith 'imself, off an article I saw from IGDA ( (
www.igda.com) ).
