I Just completed the level at Area 51. Jock and I took off in the chopper and landed at the gas station/junk yard.
This game is unbelieveable. I'm running it at 1024x768, 32 bit and the graphics are totally beautiful.
I had a lot of problems until I installed the game by copying all the files from the the CD to my HD then istalling the game. I also installed the new SP patch. I also got a couple of real good tips from (

Certainly is isn't it? I'm still not sure whether I prefer SS2 or this but my heart's set on this at the moment.

I give the title to SS2 -- not because of graphics, but just because the whole gameplay system of DX is like SS2's on steroids.

I dont get it! Everybody thinks SS2 is better than DeusEx. I tried playing it twice, three times! I always stopped after the first reloading because i think it's really boring! Furthermore, the thief2engine isn't capable of showing the environment beautiful enough.
please don't stone me, but i really think system shock is a bad game. deus ex and thief are way better.

Are you insane -- the Dark engine is perfect for a spaceship. SS2 is not Deus Ex or UT. It's not about massive wide open areas. And since when was graphics the deciding degree of a game?
BTW -- you can thank SS2 for DX's inventory and augmentation system. I'm sure you liked them.
