Choose the crossbow as your weapon, and Rifle, Lockpick, and computer skills. You wait till your crosshairs tighten up on the crossbow, then first. Run outta their range for the pistol. Rinse repeat, they fall down and go to sleep.

Naw mate! I'm just bloody happy to see another local in TTLG! Just wondering if I've uh "seen" you elsewhere besides this board. I'm known as Karras only on this board. Anywhere else, NXMT.

You can do everything you have to do for Unatco simply by ghosting through stealthily. Some parts of the game later on you have to use cloak or thermoptic camo to do stealthily. I think you can even do the whole game ghost-like without even using any augs, you just need environmental skill to use camo suits.
You can actually complete the game stealthily on realistic difficulty only carrying with you a baton, a riot prod, some lockpicks and multitools, and of course your keyring. The skills you need are computer, lockpicking, electronics, environmental, and swimming.

I'd always degrade Pistols cause truth be told: All you need is Rifles. (remember the Beatles tune?)
In other words: Max Rifles as soon as you can, later you'll need some hacking skills and maybe a point or two in heavy.
Be advised however: don't take the rifle as your free weapon... you'll find one on a right before the containers alongside the statue. Instead, take the GEP gun; it's the only piece of hardware that won't be around until later in the game.
as for completing the first level: there is only hum-hum-hum... hum... hmm, well 3 or 4 guys between you and your sniper rifle. There is a security bot too but he has no chance against your GEP:er. After you get your rifle you can take out any enemy that isn't alone (and begging for a good wack in the head).
P.S. don't forget to use the gunturrets on there own masters. NSF_001 / smashthestate is the charm.

There are a variety of ways to play really, but I always start the game by boosting my pistol skill (as well as computers and/or lockpicking), and being stealthy, and very careful with well-placed shots to the head in order to minimize injury and ammo usage. You can also use a crossbow, and stun prod if pistol ammo or darts get low.
Trying to play guns-blazing ala UT will probably result in a quick death, and will expend your ammo very quickly (you won't find huge caches of ammo as you might in typical FPSes). You're augmented, but you're not Superman, so be cautious and tactical.
Correct... until you get the reviving agumentation... then you are Superman, with guns, blades and precision guided missiles. But they can still get you in the head so watch out for snipers.

Nice guide, but it lacks that taffer feeling... and it's a little too dark. Everyone wants to be the happy little bunny man that never harms a soul, right? ...right??
