Don't get me wrong - the T3 intro is more inline with the Thief feel since he blackjacks the guy, but you should know that previous versions of the game exist.
Back on to cloaks (which we all know is what this thread is about) - at TDM we came up with this;
Ingame - no cloak: Not practical, and would be hard to animate in 3D
Cutscene - cloak: Would wear it when not on a mission, and covers up details so its easier to draw him :)
