I read this on the upcoming game This War of Mine today -- (
http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/03/14/survive-the-horrors-of-war-as-a-civilian-in-this-war-of-mine/)
Sorry there's not much information on it yet, and the devs haven't made anything particularly special before to give much confidence in it, but I thought it was interesting enough to comment on.
So the idea of this game is it's a survival sim and you're a family of civilians in an urban war zone. I see this going one of two ways. One, it's meant to be activist to make people "see war differently" and does what it thinks it's supposed to, but suck as a game; or two, it's designed as a well-thought-out survival sim at its core, and along the way we probably end up seeing war differently too. I hope it's the second one. Some of the best dramas come out of civilians in war zones, so there's potential there.

It's a nicely moody trailer but with the part that the game is actually supposed to be about only being depicted as one mediocre piece of artwork at the end, there's really not much one could say right now than: Good idea, we'll see what it actually amounts to.

Gee, it's almost like it was a teaser for an indie game.

if you can't pick up like 40 guns and go full on danial craig on the game then it's trash 0/10 would not bang

Nice trailer, but I'm not expecting much from this. 11 Bit Studios earlier games (the Anomaly series) have been alright, though nothing remarkable.

I just clicked on this thread to post that. I think "This Little War Of Mine" would have been a better title.
