Randy! Thanks for stopping by and giving your thoughts. I'm happy that you don't feel like it was a bitter end for Thief and put things in a little perspective ... sounds like you have a bit healthier attitude towards things in retrospect. If it was as situational as you say, I guess it's a kind of silver lining that it wasn't really destined to go sour and wasn't so much a clash of personality as more like the stars lining up the wrong way for a confluence of reasons.
We'll of course keep following your adventures and be rooting for you around here. Don't try to do something too awesome without keeping us up to date. Best of luck.

It might be a painfull exercise but I wonder what Randy would make of playing T:DS compared to playing T:DS with the minimal project and JP's textures installed. :ebil:

I would actually LOVE to get his feedback on Minimalist....and I would gladly try to make any changes he might have. It was his project afterall...I would really love to tweak it the way he saw fit.

Well, that's why I said I would like to get his feedback 'on minimalist'. More feedback on what I've done and how to further improve it...than putting it all back the way it was. lol To do that, you just uninstall The Minimalist Project. ;)
I have my doubts that he would have gone with the large hud for PC...although, anything is possible. I'm pretty sure the classic hud was supposed to be in there as an option, because if you poke around in the files..you will see mention of 'minimized hud'.
