Just when I thought I might maybe, possibly, finally take my wheel out of the closet and start playing the original Assetto Corsa, which I bought over a year ago.

Re: Tangiers - It's interesting (and maybe a bit annoying) that that interview was posted 10 days ago to Rely On Horror, but no updates have been made to the Kickstarter page for 6 months, where the people who actually backed the game would tend to check for updates.
Also, the interview states that "Jess Harvey" started up Tangiers back in 2013 (and the interview refers to them as a "she"), but last I heard, the creator was someone named was Alex Harvey (Alex has posted here on TTLG as well), who was definitely male. I guess you can make all sorts of assumptions from that, but none that really have anything to do with the development of the game of course (unless you blame the delayed release on personal issues they may have been going through).
In the end though, Tangiers has been so delayed that its fallen into the "believe when I see it" category right next to Routine and Paradise Lost.

(
https://charlieintel.com/2018/05/20/rumor-call-of-duty-black-ops-4-will-have-free-mp-dlc-with-season-pass-for-zombies/) Rumour: CoD Blops 4 DLC Vs. MP maps will be free. Zombies will have a season pass.
Free Vs. MP maps would be fantastic news since it means they won't be splitting the playerbase. I'm happy for players on console who'll actually be able to play this game (it'll be unplayable on PC in Oceania because of high pings. All of the hosts will be Northern Hemisphere-based since CoD is practically dead on PC).
I'll be giving CoD a miss this year because there's no campaign.

Re: the Paradox Rome game, I feel like there are two subjects that seem to be so perfect for grand strategy, but there's not been a game that's given the grand strat part of them justice, and that's the Roman era and the Cold War era. The last Paradox game on Rome fizzled, and its Cold War WIP was cancelled outright. So I have high hopes for this new game about Rome to break the curse.
(For the record, the eras of Alexander the Great, expansion of Islam / Byzantium, early India and SEAsia, and the Latin American wars of independence are also high potential / low profile subjects.)
My most anticipated Paradox game is going to be Vicky 3 though. Vicky 2 still ranks as my favorite of the genre and top 5 or 10 game ever, certainly one of the most replayed.
