Someone please change the thread title! 3 extra missions in "Metal Age", yeah, OK... :tsktsk:
Anyway, driving through Kansas is brain-meltingly hellish torture.

Obviously you've never driven through Utah.
When my wife and I moved to Oklahoma (from Utah, no less!), as we drove through Kansas, she turned to me and said "I *really* hope Oklahoma isn't like this.".
We had some friends who had made the same move earlier than us, and as they drove through Kansas, the wife said to the husband, "If Oklahoma is like this, I'm going back and taking the kids with me."
Fortunately, Oklahoma really is better, topographically speaking, than Kansas. Of course, *every* state is. Utah is definitely not a boring state to drive through - it's not flat at all, and has beautiful mountain scenery to observe as you drive. Kansas just has... well, nothing really. Corn, I guess.
Sorry to backtrack the thread like that, but I much prefer driving through the Rocky Mountains, than the Midwest's rolling plains.
