1) Anyone know what happened to all the Mechanist buildings after TMA? I'm sure the Hammers don't turn Angelwatch into a Hammerite establishment.
2) Anyone have any info on the Brotherhood of the Hand? I'm doing a FM on them and need some more information.
3) Does anyone know about what exactly happened in the cataclysms? I know it was a tradjedy involving lots of Hammer deaths, but I dunno what caused them. Does it refer to the plague of zombies in the Old Cathedral?

I don't know about 1 & 2, but as for the Cataclysm, yes, I believe it does refer to the plague of Zombies in the Old Quarter and it has something to do with the Eye. The in-game texts in RTTC refer to the Eye and it's strange behavior.

I know I said three questions, but just now on Undercover I found some evidence for another query. Anyone know whether or not the Hammers were once pagans? The plaque for the First Hammer says, "A symbol of our ascent from the Trickster's shadow." Perhaps evidence that they once worshipped the Trickster as well, but then perhaps a prophet told the otherwise or something. Also, as the Kurshoks once seemed to worship the Trickster, it seems that he may have been the dominent God in those times.
Any ideas?

I guess they did, after all, the Trickster was one of the Old-Gods, and there's nature before technology. Then they were given technology by the Builder, literally or not, and that caused the rift between Pagans and Hammers.

I took that to mean that they consider mankind to have advanced beyond old pagan ways, not that the Hammerite order itself once worshiped the Trickster. There is a difference between religions and individuals.

I geuss it's up to how you interpret it. I must admit I would prefer it if the Hammers never worshipped the Trickster. Just takes the whole soul out of them.
