I was going through some boxes in preperation to move to a new place when I found the box for my VooDoo video card that I bought to run Thief 2 back in 2000. It gave me the idea to start a thread for people to post images of their fondest memories of Thief. I'd like to see what other stuff people bought or maybe even made to go along with their thievery!

There's something pretty special about that, especially every minute you believe you are really doing it, especially when you complete it!
Most of my early and precious memories could fill a novel, and while I've mentioned many of them scattered across many threads, I'd have to say that having my ever-growing database on Thiefy things, and being able to provide what I have to help people, and give back to a community that's given more to me than I can repay, is the greatest thing aside from all the friendships, stories, and people I've met as a result of seeking more about Thief online back in 2001. The people who've been there and helped me through some dark times even by just listening, when they couldn't do any more than that, and for whatever crazy reason that Thief-related people and things are a constant when all else has fallen away, I am forever grateful for LGS and TTLG for inadvertently at first, and then certain individuals intentionally providing me an anchor. Thanks!

The many times I played past the witching hour with all the lights out, deeply immersed in the game world, only to toss the headphones off my head and jump out of my chair because something suddenly scared the living shit out of me. Good times...

Why, why, why do so many people write Voodoo as "VooDoo"? Are they blissfully unaware that voodoo is an actual word? Are they childishly compelled to emphasize the "doo"? The world may never know.

Why do the threads I start always derail?

while Voodoo or VOODOO were used most commonly, some manufacturers did use VooDoo as well, 2the Max for example.
