They included Children of Boring, Dummy Burger and Ladle of Milk, but not Darkthrone or Mayhem? Idiots. If you're going to use black metal into it you need to bring black metal worth listening to. At least they have Enslaved, though the lack of Immortal is also noticable.
God, Dethklok too? Fuck. Most of this list is pretty good but Jesus some of these picks are just atrociously bad. At least they included Scorpions, that makes up for the grievous lack of Iron Maiden. Not having Metallica I can understand- business deals and all that- but having a game about metal and not including Iron Maiden is a fucking crime. And they had to pick songs off of Iced Earth's most boring albums. Nothing from Burnt Offerings or at least Dark Saga? That's a fail.
Static-X? Goddammit.
3 Inches of Blood? More like 3 inches of cock.
Candlemass? Fuck yeah, they got something right.
Dragonfo- no I'm just going to pretend that was a mistake, someone put that in that list as a joke.
KMFDM? Well, I guess they're industrial metal.
What the hell is Manson doing in there? He's not metal. He's goth.
I dunno, they pick some good bands but completely fuck up on the song choice with some of them. Like Slayer for instance. Show No Mercy was a decent album, but it's nowhere near as good as Seasons in the Abyss. They could even have used something off of Reign in Blood, which is the popular choice (but sloppy as shit), or South of Heaven, which was better on a technical level.
Man, I dunno. Overall it's a good selection, though whoever spelled it "Megadeath" should kill themselves and fuck the body.

oh come on Dethklok is perfect for this type of project. Brendon Small is a surprisingly good guitarist, and, like Schaefer, he parodies lovingly.

Off-topic, but the recent documentary "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" makes for some entertaining (if awkward) viewing about one of the more tragic bands I've happened across. While their peers were getting rich and famous, they basically failed to make an impact on anyone aside from other bands. This left them all stuck in dead-end day jobs while they continued to play tiny going-nowhere gigs and release albums with cheap production values for something like 15 years. They were the highly-influential metal band that never got anywhere, but never stopped playing. I suspect the film has raised their profile in recent times, though.

I may be the only person who doesn't think Dethklok is all that funny. I think about the only thing that made me laugh was when they showed their new producer "Mermaider"- granted, that sequence was great, but either way the music is pretty bog-standard death metal. Maybe that's the point, but I've heard so many goddamn death metal bands and about 80% of them all sound the same. Dethklok, parody or not, is in that 80%.
