I don't see why you should. I completely agree with you. The first half of this FM is a pointless keyhunt (upstairs find key downstairs find key, upstairs find key downstairs find key, upstairs find key downstairs find key, upstairs find key downstairs find key, upstairs find key downstairs find key, upstairs find key downstairs find key... ad infinitum). The second half comprised of wandering around a huge museum picking up loot whilst staring at slow moving AI (why?????) slowly losing the will to live. At this point I pressed my delete button.
I very rarely fail to complete missions but I just wasn't enjoying this one at all and can think of nothing positive to say about it. If nobody tells the author this presumably he will keep on using the same old tired formula.
Anyone care to disagree? (other than Pedro obviously)
I disagree entirely, he was merely voicing an opinion that I think must be fairly universal. Well done to him/her for having the courage to do so. Yes, criticism on these fora should in general attempt to be constructive but if people find an FM unplayable then it is important that the author is aware of this even if, as in the past, the author chooses to ignore the criticism.
I constructively suggest that the author play Lady Rowena's latest masterpiece and learn from it.
You´re lucky that i´m not able to delete your poising comment, i just don´t want to upset Nightwalker, otherwise i would tell you to stick that comment up your... ,to kiss my... and go to...

Pedro, I did not mean to offend you at all. In fact, believe it or not, I was trying to hand out a compliment by saying I think you're extremely talented with design and architecture (and music too, btw), but in my opinion it seems to go to waste when you create a very blatant keyhunt that, also in my opinion, any beginning dromeder could conjure up in a half an hour or so.
I thought it was all the more frustrating that you stated this mission was something "new," when you in fact had done the same exact thing in one of your previous missions. It was frustrating to the point of quitting the mission, which is something I rarely do.
In any case, sorry if I offended you. I guess your missions just aren't my cup of tea. I'll try to keep my opinions to my reviews on Southquarter.
To be honest i always had you in high consideration, and never expected such agressive comment coming from you, never, one thing is a comment coming from the Dude or some other asshole wich i understand, other thing is coming from a friend, and i always had you as a friend, remember that you´re not the only player here, and there is out there players who enjoy keyhunts, including me.

Bobber: I already had every frobbable door open (except for the director's office), and I had gone into the
courtyard, too, and met the girl,
but nothing happened, because I didn't have the last item in my objectives, the eye.
I went back and combed every inch of the history lab and found the key the cat had hidden there. The eye was in the director's pickable safe.
so i finished finally - but a grand short on the loot!
Blow: the oldest clock is
on a pedestal among a grouping of, I think 4 pedestals, in a kind of dead-end area on the 2nd floor of the museum. There are items to grab on the other pedestals as well. I kept missing it, too! I think there's a balcony overlooking the lower floor in this area.
Sorry I can't be more specific. Hope this helps.

My earlier mistake, you need the key marked 'Outside Doors'. Where I found it I can't remember. Good luck!

Finished on Expert and I'm happy to report no crashes, even with the Enhancement Pack.
And cardia1, please don't take criticism so personally. I realize that you put time and effort into your creative work, and hearing complaints/criticism about it is never any fun, but the only opinion that matters is your own. (eg. Did you, yourself like this mission?) Other people's opinions are superfluous, take what you will from them, but taking offense is simply a waste of time.
That being said, I liked the mission. The keyhunt was tedious, but that's my problem, not yours. Besides, I found that the lovely architecture, atmosphere, and artwork more than made up for this. So keep up the good work, and lighten up!:D (It lowers your risk of heart disease too)
