OK, thanks for the link. I think Timon is a little busy with his contest mission, while I never really released a mission, so I wasn't sure what needs to be done. :p I will go through the mission and check that all the criteria are met.
The final zip pack with the translated files is uploaded and both Long Finger and Timon have the link to it.
EDIT: OK, I checked it, all the criteria are met. Of course, apart from objnames.str, which is still to be modified. So per instructions on the sie, I'm sending an email to thief-thecircle. Also, should the mission also be uploaded to Cheap Mission Downloads site?

I think they would be willing to host this mission. usually it is added without any hassle, but it would be nice to send them an email with a link. I should not know the email addres of it, but somebody can probably come up with that. :)

We seem to have objects problem solved. Thanks to Long Finger!
The pack is ready (at least I think it is  ). We're waiting for a confirmation from Timon and we are ready to release.

Jericho - you've written :"I got the files from Long Finger (by the way, funny thing, eventually we translated both from Polish and French, becasue there were some files in French version, which never appeared in the Polish one )"
I've asked Timon if I can add some funny texts of my own, about the French Thief community, he said he was OK about that (Guess what, Timon likes jokes
:cheeky: )
I've also modified some objects names concerning those texts e.g "parchemin navrant" means "unfortunate parchment" by using dromed.
So ze french touch is here ;)
You don't need to put them in the english version... If you really want it I can translate them for you in English.
I strongly don't like the automatic translator idea...
"The only thing we are left with are objects. The French version was modified so that the names of the objects go from the file."
Yeap, I've translated all objects names directly through Dromed, so the .mis is stricto sensu French :)

Stefan - You're right. I noticed that some of the object names were hardcoded directly in Dromed. We are working on that together with Long Finger. Some were not, so we use objstrings.str file.
It's still time for the last-minute changes. If you wish to send the "French" files in English (tymakta31 through 38), please do. Yes, Timon mentioned we were free to modify some of them, so actually I did modify some of them, to make the mission be more "English".
No worry, we make sure that the mission is as much English as possible, without any loss of the mission quality or the overall meaning of the mission.
After releasing the English version, we want to release a multi-language version (English, French and Polish).
EDIT: Stefan - I modified the files you added to the French translation. I think we are fine. Still, if you want to add something to the English translation, please let us know.

A final update - I modified the list of Timoteus objects and Long Finger is working in Dromed checking the object names. As Ilast talked to Long Finger, we probably won't manage to "wrap it up" today, so expect a release tomorrow.
Stefan_Key on 24/1/2003 at 21:56
Jericho, I've sent you my texts in English, I hope it's not too late...
It's a good idea about the multi-lingual FM, I can send you too the french translations of the objects, so you don't have to check it in Dromed or in the game and lose time.
Worry not if you see black boxes instead of letters in the french .str, this is totally normal.
The "black boxes" are letters (é ê è à ç â î ô û ù) coded in ASCII, and this is an obligation in order to see those letters correctly in the fms.
(Hope too you're not fed up with my accents story :cheeky: )
