Ok, Finally after years I have to post because people are too vaque. There are way too many bathrooms and way too many statues in this level. I have searched every bathroom and tried to beat on their walls and shot every statue and can't get at the bath room secret which I understand will give me the combinations to the rooms at the bottom of the Labyrinth. Will someone please be specific for a change and tell me how to get at this or these secrets. Meanwhile I will try one of the the other missions. This is a nice mission, but I think there are way too many switches and odd ball things to find in very difficult players, and I been playing this game since the original thief came out.

[SPOILER]You are looking for a bathroom with a swimmming pool. In front of it there is a statue and at the back there is a small plateau with a banner. Shoot the statue with a fire arrow, then get over to the plateau and slice the banner with your sword. In the room where you were comming from is a female servant patrolling and there is an elevator (with a secret button underneath)[/SPOILER]

I know the spot. There is a small bathroom off this area, but none with a swimming pool in it. Is this bathroom hidden in some way? I will look again to see if I can find another bathroom. This is where you enter the the new area and find the first hammer correct?

The bathroom is not hidden, the indoor swimmingpool is referred to as bathroom, that's all.
About the first hammer: [SPOILER]When you pull the switch under the elevator, a small door opens to a corridor which leads you to behind the hammer display window. There is a hammer there to take with you, the other one teleports you to...[/SPOILER]

Help would be really appreciated. I'm stuck in this brilliant FM at the point where you bash down the wall in the room off the Library, read the book and the 3 haunts appear. I've put Mozart's skull on the altar in the same room, but they still appear and kill me the second I read the book listing the Capitula members. I've also tried staying in the dark and killing them, but I don't have enough fire arrows to deal with 3 of them! Any ideas please?

Thanks for your earlier help Timon! Stuck again now... I have 3 hammers but can't find the Northern hammer. I read on one of these threads that it could be found in the library behind a statue? Can't find a statue in the library at all! Have searched the rooms 1,2,3,4 carefully and can get into the relevant catacomb room but have no hammer to frob the gravestone. Also, what does one do in the secret area off the Head Librarian's Office? I just keep getting shut in by the walls that come down as you go down the tunnels. Please help.... Thanks
