I have 3 hammers but can't find the Northern hammer. I read on one of these threads that it could be found in the library behind a statue?

Thanks for posting that screenshot - but I already have that hammer! I'm assuming you mean the one you get if you flick the switch underneath the elevator? I must have identified the one I'm missing wrongly as the North Hammer. Perhaps it is the Southern Hammer i'm missing?

Kimberly - Here's where to find each Hammer, so you can identify which one you're missing:
The Western Hammer, as shown by Timon above, you find by sending that elevator back up, opening up the passageway with the lever below the elevator and the Hammer is on the floor behind the display case.
To find the Northern Hammer, go into Room #1 and look for the Deposit Box #1 key in the water, then go out, unlock the Deposit box and flip the lever inside. Now, go back into Room #1 and the Hammer will have appeared in a metal-lined niche on the wall.
For the Southern Hammer, go into Room #3, over by the desk and look on the floor to the right for a tiny lever, then go down the stairs to the little sitting area. A secret hiding place in the end of the railing has opened.
The Eastern Hammer is in the central display case in Room #4. To get it take the broadheads mounted on the wall and use one of them to hit the archery target on the wall. This opens the top of the display case. Then climb up and hit the flaming hammer with a water arrouw to douse it.
I just finished playing this mission on "difficult" and managed to do pretty well, (stats below) but I cannot find where the haunts are in the mission. Are they down in the maze where the spinning guy is and I just happened to luck my way around without finding them? :)
This is another great mission that I might have to play again.
Stats:
Time: 3 hours 7 minutes 48 seconds
Loot: 8555 out of 8937
KO's: 21
Damage delt:21
Taken: 0
Secrets: 4 of 4
Pockets picked: 4 of 9

You may only be able to get into that section on Expert, though I can't say for sure, as that's the only setting I've had time to play this one on. The haunts are
in the room under construction, off of the Library. They aren't there until you try to take the book and you can avoid having them appear if you do a certain thing before touching the book.
Is there a place to get a walk through for Timoteus?

I don't believe there's a walkthrough anywhere for it, but if you use the "search" button at the top of the forum, you should find threads with answers to most of the questions you'll need answered. If you don't find what you need and you're stuck, just post and someone will help you out, usually fairly quickly. :)

Thanks Nightwalker,
Yep, I have read bits here and there about Timoteus. Tons of spoilers and repeat spoilers. I just hoped that by now maybe there would be a walkthrough instead of having to jump on the web for every little snaffu I got into. I never would have guessed to shoot that fire arrow at the statue. NEVER!! I have only done that for one other mission that I can't remember the name of right now. It was a while back. The big male statue was in the room and he was holding a torch and I had to then. But seems to me that I was given a hint from somewhere....two hints...one was that he was holding a torch and the other may have been some plaque with a poem on it. ....lighting the way? maybe...
Anyway.....I also asked Jericho, he told me "There was a long post about Timoteus on TTLG, use search to get it. You will find all the answers there."
There are tons of posts. Well thanks anyway, I just HATE having to get a hint. I will take me a week atleast. Lots of game play there. (grin'-)
I'll let you know if I remember to copy down the stats

Have fun with it and if it's taking too long to find what you need from old posts, feel free to ask again. I check the forums quite frequently, as do quite a few others, so it might not take too long to get an answer.

I give up and must be legally blind. Cannot, CANNOT find the "secret hiding place" for the southern hammer or for
the wonderful open-everything key on the floor of room number two. Have been over that floor 3 times. Have moved the lever in room number 3 so many times I no longer know which is open and which is shut. Regardless, when I go to the end of the railing in the sitting area, I do not see any opening anywhere. Just the highlighted gold post that takes me to another room.
Have not been able to open the top right lock box in the hallway there. Is this why I am having a problem with the southern hammer?
