I just completed a Perfect Thief (ghosting + all loot) walkthrough for this FM. All 4 secrets are ghosted. It may even be a Klepto-Thief walkthrough (ghosting + all loot + all inventoriable items), but it is hard to be sure that I didn't miss something. If you are interested, email me & I will send it to you. The MS Word version is 4 MB and the RTF version is 11 MB. I can strip out the copies of the maps if you want, and that should make it a much smaller file. Let me know how you want it sent. I'll submit it to thiefmissions.com when epithumia, the host of that site, returns.
I also have a Perfect Thief walkthrough for Keyhunt, if you are interested. I am planning to write more ghosting walkthroughs as I find missions that interest me and do not already have walkthroughs. If you have any FMs that you would like to see ghosted, let me know, and I will consider them.

I've been done with the mission for days, but I can't seem to figure out how to
open the secret door under the shelf in the evidence locker.
Any tips?

Hope this helps..
Climb the ladder directly in front of the secret door. At the top is the lever hidden by a crate

The lever is really hard to see. If I remember correctly, you have to be on the left side of the 2nd ladder at the top. Then try to see behind the crate to your right. The switch will illuminate for you to frob when you do it right.
Just finished this FM. It was a lot of fun. I could kind of feel the difference between old style FMs and new ones. Where in new ones a lot of the focus seems to be on custom content and detail, the old style goes for gameplay, as could be seen in the carefully set patrol routs and the way the design was done with "thieving' in mind, not necasserally "realism". It was a refreshing experience. :thumb:

As usual, I have missed something others have done, but I have gotten the dice and I don't know where to exchange them. I cannot find a craps table anywhere. Help.

You replace the real dice with the fake dice. So you have to find out where the real "lucky" dice are. Go there. Take the real ones, and leave behind the fake ones.
The dice are in the safe. Safety deposit box 9 has the lucky dice; switch them for the fake dice.
I guess the map listing hotel/casino made me fixate on the casino. Thanks very much for waking me up. Welcome to the forum. I use to live in the Downey-Norwalk area of L.A. before moving to NC.

This mission (and a few others) crashes to the desktop when starting.
I get the title, and when I click on the mission name it is a few seconds dark and then it ends to the desktop without error message.
I see that there is a movie inside this FM. The movie is not played.
This is a strange thing, as it happens in some fan missions and in others not. I think it has to do with the movies or briefings, but I'm not sure. There are other missions with movies and briefings that function correct.
The same problem is for example also in the second part of "The Enterprise" (version for Thief 2 in the package) at the start. So I can't play the further missions of the pack. This is strange, because in earlier times (under Windows 98 SE) The Enterprise was okay, and I could play the package (parts 1 - 5, I believe). But later this did no more function. (Later I had Windows 2000 Professional and then I had Windows XP, I'm not sure if it has something to do with this.) I normally use the old installations as I have let installed Windows XP over Windows 2000 and not deleted the programs. But I have also tried to install Thief 2 new - but it doesn't help.
Do these missions use special scripts?

Try deleting the movie files. If the mission runs fine after that, you probably got a problem with your codecs. Sometimes the installation of new codecs damages already existing ones on your machine and render them unusable.
