Remember that this mission, and by extension every mission made for the contest, is for
THIEF 2. As such, do not load it with Thief 1/GOLD! It is highly recommended you do not use the Enhancement Pack and/or HD texture packs to play this mission. It is also recommended you uncheck all optional features T2Fix comes with if you update to the latest version of the full executable.

I guess my mission wasn't cool enough to be on the google drive :laff: !
Use the first link for now, guys

Thanks for the entry, of course i played this first since you are on of us podcast taffers :D
pros: thank you for not forcing me to lockpick every chest, actually i think every chest and case is unlocked?! great thing and that for most doors there is multidoor key thats great, the writables, conversations and funny references are great and there so much fanservice it's like a little wonderland for thief fans, as I said I love it that the whole mission is based around the transition from hammerites to mechs taking over and you've done that great justice and best of all you did it with immersion, by telling things visually and not simply with texts (the windows, the models, that hammerite in west tower, the conv. between the guard and the handyman great....
also as said I can see your improvements in you architecture and (keeping in mind that you were limited because of the contest rules) I like it that every room has little details, shelfs are not empty, theres books, scrolls, (alot of cheese lying around, you like cheese i suppose), the conversation between the dude and the guard that tells me (ah this is dewinder manor right here) and many little things done right, I can see that there was someone behind it who knows whats good design and tried to keep the annoying gameplay stuff small
the story is as basic as it gets but your premise of the mission is a different one so it cool The intro and voice acting was amazing considering you hired great and well known actors
Cons: only issue I have, the lower levels of the cathedral are too maze like for my personal taste (t1 but not in a good way, it feels unnatural and is disorientating but not for fun) to me and they are too often too grey that i lost a bit of interest after a while which is sad because there are so many details everywhere but now I was at a point where I had a tough time to motivate myself after achieving all goals but still having a whole building to explore.
buuut I see great improvement and a city/cathedral mission is a different thing than your last entry and you've done well....great job buddy and I'm really looking forward to your next mission.

I chose this randomly as my first contest mission. This mission will not take any awards, but it's a solid 7/10 city exploration entry and welcomed to the fan missions database. My only gripe is that there's too many doors, but on positive side most of them are not locked.

My first choice also!
Playing this in shifts, as it were. No isolation for me. Loving it so far, though. The lighting is bang on point, an under appreciated DromEd skill, as far as I'm concerned. Bravo Psy!

Very solid Thieves highway type mission which is one of my favorite type!! :cheeky::thumb:

I second that. And as usual I missed around 1400 loot. [emoji16] The cathedral is huge and the abundance of doors is not so bad since it helped me when I got lost.

echoing all the praise posted so far!
I'm playing on hard and need 4 trinkets; I have the chisel, head, and painting but I don't know where to find the last one.
hints, please?
