To any No One Lives Forever fans out there... - by lost_soul

There used to be a fan site called (
www.nolfgirl.com) which hosted mods and other downloads for the game. Somebody made a console (quake-style text interface) add-on for this game years ago and it was hosted on this site. Now this site has shut down and the contents are gone. Does anyone have the console mod for Nolf 1 made by an author named "viktor"? I dug that information out of the wayback machine. Google doesn't turn up anything.
This is yet another incentive to burn all my favorite Thief FMs and other game mods to a CD and store them away in a dark closet somewhere. You never know when they'll disappear from the web sadly.

Did you try actually downloading the file through archive.org? I've had hit-or-miss success with that when looking for other stuff.

this is just another ploy by the man to force us to move on to more recent and profitable games because they're trying to kill the replayability of all our old games by making the addons and whatnot disappear from the interweb
now i know how the civil rights movement felt
fight the man, man!

@Jason: Yeah I tried that, but I got the old page not found error. It wouldn't even give me the file name so I could google that instead.
@Dethtoll: I was surprised to see that you can still play the original NOLF online, but not NOLF2 (so I've heard). Apparently the NOLF2 servers went down long ago. Nolf1 was the much better game though anyway.

It's like people haven't heard of VPNs and Hamachi or something
