Ok i did some quick testing just now, a couple of things..
1. the 1st person movement is now smooth again :)
2. how do I toggle night vision off/on as its a bit overwhelming when on :erg:
3. the gamma when in the menus is too low :(
and lastly I have a request, I dont know if this is possble but is there anything that can be done about the jerky side step animation - I have always run enabled so its more noticable than when in walking mode. If Im not making any sense I will capture 2 videos to demonstrate what I mean..?

Hello bikerdude,
First of all, it seems that your much happier with the new version, which makes me happier as well.
The Night Vision is SO simple that I'm surprised you don't how it works, even when I wrote it clearly in the readme. Anyway: I will tell you:
1.The health potion is replaced by another inventory item called "Mechanical Eye".
2.Use "Next Item" and/or "Previous Item" to select the mechanical eye or just select it by pressing "2".
3. Press "Use Item" to toggle night vision on or off. It's better to do this while standing still.
If this isn't working. Please check the following:
>Did you make a CLEAN install of Thief 3, without T3Level Editor and without any other MOD?-(besides my MOD and John-P's CTP ofcourse)
>Did you remove your saved game folder?
>Did you do anything strange or experimenting with Thief?
Also, the Gammo is SO simple to increase that also in this case I'm surprised you don't know it. Anyway, this is how it works:
Go to the Main Menu>>Options>>Gamma(it's used to call "Brightness").
Here there is a bar, scroll it to the left to make things darker, and to the right to make things brighter.
If this isn't working, please chaeck the following:
>Is you monitor correctly installed?
>Did you change the gamma/brightness/contrast/colorscheme options on your monitor or PC?
I hope you get rid of your problems.
Regards,
Tony.

* I was referring the gamma when in the main menu, but I see now you have lowered the gamma by default, doh! my bad.
* yes, t3 was fine menu gamma-wise prior to your mod, but I have now figured out as above.
Also is there anything that can be done about the jerky side step animation(which is worse with your mod)..?

Sorry, but I cannot change that specific animation. I did try.
Anyway, I hope that the sidestep animation is the only thing about my MOD you don't like.
So, besides the sidestep, do you like my MOD?
One more thing: If you haven't read the readme yet, I seriously advice you do. Things like the night vision are all detailed explained in the readme.
Regards,
Tony.

PS: To answer your previous question: I'm 17 years old and I'm from Holland - Europe.

Hi Tony
I appreciate that you have put a lot of time and effort into this mod, but I have to say at this point after only done 30 mins of testing I'm not inclined to use your mod.... I agree I haven't read 'all' of the readme, but that was deliberate, so see how user friendly your mod was. So far I have found the following: -
* I didnt install JohnP's texture pack, because for me half of his textures change the atmosphere of the game - I have emailed him asking if he minded if I altered some of the textures in his pack, but have yet to hear anything.
* Even after I followed your instruction regarding the night vision but was unable turn it off.
* Regarding the animation of garrets arm when using the dagger, his arm looks stretched out, and only moves in one direction as opposed to the criss cross motion of the stock animation.
* I cant really tell the difference atm between walking forward in your mod and std.
* The side step animation is a show stopper for me. It is one of the few things I have always hated in T3 and your mod exaggerates that I'm afraid.
* I have an issue with the bow aiming, this is another show stopper. I am unable to satisfactorily line up the bow with distant objects so they I get a hit each time, Garrett is a master bowman and as such should be able to hit all of his targets all of the time.
That's all so far, I shall continue testing to explore the other things you have tweaked.

>:sweat:The Bow has been fixed in the new version, and wo are the movement animations. Only the dagger is 3rd person like. Are you sure you installed the new Version of my MOD?
>:angel:As for John-P's textures: I'm not forcing you to install his pack, but - gotta say- how can you not like his textures?!ohn-P has made the BEST thief textures for Thief 3 up till now.
>:confused:The night vision works 100%. I'm sure of it. It's been tested by durtbag. You can ask him. If the night vision isn't working, you either installed my MOD along with another MOD, or you just have a terrible PC, or you didn't remove your saved game folder before installing my MOD, or something else...
Conclusion: You didn't install my MOD correctly - or at least not the latest version (available at darkfate.ru)- and you probably have a terrible PC.
I hope it gets better.
HOWEVER: If anyone else also seems to have a problem with the night vision, please respond!
Regards,
TWA

:laff: I'm sure everyone will be rushing to use your mod with support like that.

Hé Bikerdude, I didn't offended you, did I? If I did, than I'm sorry.
To New Horizon: Just to check, the night vision works on your PC, right? It works on my PC. I don't know why it doesn't work on Biker's PC.

Tony.
