I've deleted wrong screens and has added new screenshots.
To Clearing: Thanks Clearing! I appreciate it.

To Albert:
Now most screens look like the final result (though you might see some HUD's are diffrent, but that's because the new HUD was one of the latest change). So, you can now just look at the screens, since that's pretty much what you expect. I hope you like the MOD.

To New Horizon:
>If you don't see the diffrences in lightning, I suggest you go see a doctor to check your eyes. I changed the radius and the color of most lights.
>The bloom/improved lightning option is something little. You won't notice much diffrent with the lightning when you change bloom. The real change is with the radius and color (and unchangable).
>If you don't think the animations are correct, I suggest you compare them with the 3 rd person, as they are exactly the same. I only tweaked the speed.
>The animations are close the realistic and close to perfect.
>I never spoke about the MOD as the second coming of Jesus. In fact, I keep scremaing around not to expect too much (as I'm just an amateur).
>If you think I am offending you, than you're wrong.
New Horizon, is there something else you would like to complain about me or my MOD? Or is there another subject you would like to spit on my face? If so, I'd rather not hear it.

I'm not spitting in your face, I'm just telling you how your coming across in your posts, which you still don't seem to understand.
About the third person animations. I know that they're the third person animations...my point was, they don't make the control any better..they make it worse. The third person animations toss the player camera around even more than the original animations...which is bad. In addition to that, the blackjack and dagger animations are broken while *crouching*. Not a huge deal I suppose, but still, it's a bug.
You talk about having pressure on you...I think all along it was more 'guidance' than pressure. Guidance from experienced modders.
In any case, I am writing an installer for your MOD. I just have to finish adding all the files to backup to the script. Expect a link to it by the end of the day.

New Horizon,
If you want to know: These were my Goals:
>I wanted the first person animations to be similar to the third person animation. I got it working, and I'm super proud of it.
>I and my tester - we - wanted a night vision. I got it working, and we're both proud of it.
>I wanted imporved lightning. It worked (though you seem to have a light filter in front of your eyes, knowing you don't see the diffrence).
>I wanted a slightly diffrent Minimalist project than you made, and I got it working. And before you start pointing fingers: YOU DID GAVE ME PERMISSION TO DO SO.
However, YOU DIDN'T ASK ME PERMISSION TO USE MY MOD AND PUT IT INTO YOUR "OWN WRITTEN INSTALLER". THAT'S RUDE. YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED!

I'm glad you got them working. I'm simply telling you, the control is worse.

Happy you got it working. It's an achievement, but I didn't even mention the night vision in my post. Why are you bringing it up?

I simply wouldn't call it improved. It's different, but not really an improvement over the original lighting. Just being honest.

Why would you even bring this up? I know I gave you permission, I'm the one who gave it...why the hell would i point fingers? Are you for real? Anyone is free to use my minimalist project files. I really don't care. I don't know why you even brought this up...this is absolutely ridiculous.

Why would I need to ask permission to repackage your mod in an installer? I'm not changing ANY files, or adding anything. I'm simply putting it in a reliable installer so people don't have to reinstall Thief to get back a clean game. This is pretty common and doesn't require permission...unless changes are being made. For the record, I'm NOT writing the installer for ME, I'm writing it to HELP YOU! I wasn't going to post the link in the thread, I was going to private message it to you and you could do what you wanted with it...test it with your tester or whatever...I told you to 'expect the link'. Give me a break. In any case, I'll finish it up and send you the link later.

Hello New Horizon,
OK, that's fine to me, sending the "written installer" to me.
There are still three things I don't understand of you:
1>How can't you see the the good of the lightning? The original lights were unrealistically small, and also with poor color. I doubled the radius of most lights and and gave them a more lovely color. It's more realistic now. Can't you see that? (perhaps you're just pretending not to see the improvement in it).
(>)And just so you know: That Bloom option doesn't change the lightning, just makes things bloom more, which looks good on the lights.
2>How could you possibly think the new animations are worse? Have you ever played "Mirrors Edge" or "The Chronicles of Riddick"? Obviously you haven't.
3>Why are you so NEGATIVE about me and my MOD?! There enough things about the Minimalist which I didn't like, and you don't see me screaming around about that. I never said anything horrible to you or your MOD, but you do about me.
Perhaps my tester (Adam-C AKA Durtbag) can make some sense out of you (though he didn't agree with you either).

You need to learn to understand the difference between criticism and negativity. I don't hate your mod, I'm simply giving my honest appraisal of the result. It's nothing against you personally.
I've played mirrors edge, it has better control than TDS. As I said, the 3rd person animations jerk the camera around more. The TDS system is just not designed for this...nor are the 3rd person animations designed to be used for 1st person control. As a player, control should sometimes take precedence over realism.
I'll have the installer finished sometime tonight.

I know thief 3 isn't the perfect game for Riddick-style animations. But what's wrong with trying? And I'm proud of how far I achieved in doing this anim stuff.
And you still haven't told me why you don't see the good in the better lights;... I still think the lights are a lot better than the original, and so does my Tester, but you've read that in his preview in this very same thread.
Regards,
Tony.

Hello Potterr,
Are you writing to me or to massi?
If you're writing to me, well... I don't fully understand what you're saying.
"It seems like today's my "don't understand English" day, as this is the third time today I didn't understand someone".
Sorry.

PS: I changes T3Camera.ini, t3playeranims.ini and KernelGFX_All.IBT
_
Either of you really. Any changes you make in ini files could cause problems with other peoples ini files. Basically by replacing their ini files with one in the mod you will likely remove any settings that they have customised on their ini's.
GL introduced a method that will take the actual changed elements of the ini file (T3Camera.ini and t3playeranims.ini in this case) by just stripping the ini file contents (the ones in the mod) back to just the element you have changed. Rename them so that the ini is called T3Camera_patch.ini and t3playeranims_patch.ini. When GL installs an FM (containing your mod) it means that the players ini files are backed up, then they are scanned and modified with the changes in the _patch.ini files still leaving custom changes but applying your changes as well (unless your change overrides a players custom change in which your change would be applied). When the fm (containing your mod) is uninstalled the original ini files are restored.
It doesn't hugely matter about the Kernel_GFXAll.IBT as only a few current FMs contain it, besides if they would want to use your mod they would start changes to it based upon your edited one.
massimilianogoi, just wondering if that may be the issue you are facing with your tests.
Basically what I'm saying is that like other mods for T3, yours is likely to be incorporated into FMs and distributed.
So making the process easy and more in tune with what is already out there would make it more appealing for people to use. NH's installer would help with that but making it compatible with the current FM loader (GL) would also help.
