Also, there should be a list of files in the readme that tells the player which files will be modified and they should be encouraged to back those files up.

However, YOU DIDN'T ASK ME PERMISSION TO USE MY MOD AND PUT IT INTO YOUR "OWN WRITTEN INSTALLER". THAT'S RUDE. YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED!
Tony, for the love of god... New Horizon is trying to help you and make life easier for us, the players...!!!
So I have to assume there is some cultural miss understanding going on here, chill out and take a step back. This forum is full of people who are more than happy to help you, but if you keep getting angry that help with disappear.
I for one look forward to playing with your mod once NH has made the installer for it.

It doesn't hugely matter about the Kernel_GFXAll.IBT as only a few current FMs contain it, besides if they would want to use your mod they would start changes to it based upon your edited one.
massimilianogoi, just wondering if that may be the issue you are facing with your tests.
??? What??? I just tried to use your fantastic GL to save my Thief installation :P hahahahaha
GarrettLoader is one of the best applications I've seen. Not for nothing it has over 1,3 millions votes uploaded!! This demonstates that it's an awesome application, and it should be used to manage the installation, beside the fact that you, potter, said me that the program will backup and memorize all the files changed. GarrettLoader is a brilliant product of software enginering, that could worth a degree for you, but here I doubt that someone understand programming language, so understand it manages transmissions via sockets, database arranging, file and directories managing, dynamic text interface. The only lacks this program has, is the registry setting, when you switch from editing to playing missions on Thief 3.

Hello massi and potterr,
OK, no problem! I will make an new version of the mod that's compatible with GarrettLoader. That way, I won't even need the installer of friendly New Horizon, except for those who don't use GL.
As for New Horizon: I'm not being sarcastic. I really do mean "friendly".
Regards,
Tony.

Bad news,
Using the GarrettLoader to install my MOD does work, but the games doesn't run as smoothly as I wanted. And one of the changes of my MOD was specifically to improve the smootness. So, you either have to use what I gave you, or you'll have to wait until New Horizon has finished his installer.
Regards,
Tony Ayalew.

You will for people who don't use GarrettLoader. Thanks for the "friendly" dig in the previous post. I guess the ten frustrating pages of me and the others trying to help you package the mod doesn't mean anything.

Frankly, I can't believe the tremendous goodwill that has been shown to this guy, considering he has been nothing but rude, negative and immature for the past four months. The fact that's he's getting any help from anyone at this point shows some pretty extreme amounts of patience.

New Horizon, I wasn't being sarcastic, if that's what you mean. When I sad "friendly" I really do mean "friendly". I appreciate you're making an installer (at first I thought you were re-creating my MOD).

I haven't done anything wrong... I think.
I wasn't rude. I wasn't negative. I was a bit angry, but that can happen.
As for immature: And don't know how mature you expect me to be. I think myself to be quite mature actually. Even though I'm 17 years old.
And if you're talking about the word "friendly", I wasn't being sarcastic, I really meant "friendly"; Honest.

Maybe just a little teenage condescension going on without you realizing it. But no worries, everyone around here seems to get a little touchy from time to time.
Here, this'll cheer everyone up: NIPPLES!
See. Made me smile.
